NATURE WALK
There are numerous walking tracks in the surrounding National Parks, and many begin directly from the Ecolodge. Choose from three options, including easy one-hour walks up to half- day adventures. A free map of the various walks is available at the Ecolodge office. Take a packed lunch and head off to explore.
FRUIT PICKING & TASTING
Take the tropical fruits guidebook and wander amongst the 60 tropical and exotic fruit trees planted at the Ecolodge over the past 20 years. Taste and smell the fruits and nuts that are in season. Guests are warmly welcome to enjoy the orchard.
SUSTAINABILITY & ART
The art of discarded objects. “Flestering” explores how waste can be transformed into creative expression, using discarded
materials found around the property. Wander the walk and reflect on how our behaviour impacts the environment — and how we might rethink our relationship with waste and resources.
OUR COFFEE PROJECT
Get your hands amongst the cherries on our little coffee hobby farm. Pick ripe beans, learn how they are processed, then roast and brew a fresh cup the way it was always meant to taste — a true paddock-to-plunger experience.
UNIQUE DINING EXPERIENCE
Enjoy a self-serve tropical breakfast served on our Train Carriage Deck. Includes fresh local tropical fruit platter, cereals, yogurts, juice, toasts ,boiled eggs and fresh coffee or tea. Book on arrival at reception.
BIRDS & TREES
Meander through our regrowth rainforest and creek area located at the rear of the Ecolodge property. The owners and guests have planted hundreds of trees here to regenerate this once weed infested creek area. Discover the different types of native bush foods and nuts available in the rainforest.

Take an ocean walk through 11 themed zones with more than 150 aquatic species. Brave the Shark Dive Extreme experience and come face-to-face with several species of sharks and rays.

The Sunshine Coast is famous for its beaches, many only 30 minutes’ drive from the Ecolodge. Swim, relax on the sand, or take a surf lesson.
Seasonal
Whale-watching tours depart from Mooloolaba and further north from Hervey Bay, offering the chance to see migrating humpbacks travelling along the Queensland coast.
