PLAN YOUR VISIT
The Ecolodge is located 70 kilometres north of Brisbane in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast.

Travel north along the Bruce Highway (Highway 1, M1) for approximately 50 minutes
Take the Steve Irwin Way exit on your left.
About 7 kilometres from that turnoff Mt. Tibrogargan will appear on your left-hand side
About 3 kilometres from there turn left at the Mt Tibrogargan /Barrs Road sign
Cross over the railway line, turn left and the Ecolodge is 2 kilometres along Barrs Road on the right.

Travelling south along the Bruce Highway (Highway 1, M1)
Take the Landsborough/Steve Irwin Way exit.
Continue along this road for approximately 20 minutes travelling past Australia Zoo and Beerwah township
Look out for Caltex service station on the left then 400 metres past turn right into Barrs Road
Cross the rail tracks turn left and the Ecolodge is 2 kilometres along on the right hand side.
Trains run several times each morning and afternoon from Brisbane to Glasshouse Mountains station on the Nambour/Gympie North line. The Ecolodge is 3 km from the station and we will collect guests that have given 24 hours notice.
It is possible to catch a train from the Brisbane airport to the Glasshouse Mountains train station. You need to change trains at either Eagle Junction or Bowen Hills station depending on the schedule for that day. Go to www.qr.com.au, put in your desired travel times and you will be provided with a timetable for your trip.
Trains from the airport do not operate after 8.00pm and there are limited services on weekends.
If driving follow the directions above by car, or catch the air train from the airport to the Eagle Junction station which is two stops and takes ten minutes. Transfer at Eagle Junction onto the Nambour/Gympie North line and hop off the train at Glasshouse Mountains Railway station. Have lunch at Club Glasshouse and take their courtesy bus over to us.
Please be aware that the Brisbane airport train does not operate after 8.00pm.
Unfortunately there is limited public transport available to and from the airport so hiring a car is the easiest option. Alternatively take a taxi to the Nambour Railway Station and travel by train from there to Glasshouse Mountains Railway Station.
